Veronica, you can check upgrade eligibility right from your phone. Dial *639# and hit call it will send you a text message. Notice I said dial, not text.Does replacing the back replace the lens cover as well? Mine is really scratched. Not sure if it affects images, but I can”t believe how scratched it is.The reason I and others buy these apps are fiat all of the maps and software are installed on the phone. No 3G signal needed. Magellan works great for me
